I feel hugely honoured when I hear these comments but I want to tell you that it is not me making the change. It is you, and only you.
Every morning you take the decision as to how you want your day to be, every moment you decide how you want to think about your circumstances.
Your life is the result of all the decisions you have ever taken.
It is not luck or bad fortune, it is about:
- recognising opportunities,
- taking a leap of faith
- taking that first step towards realising your dream
You move toward what you put your attention on. Whatever you focus your attention on grows, so focus on good thoughts and good intentions. Imagination is everything and you can become whatever you wish to be.
It’s about learning to grow from obstacles which are here to teach you and understanding that it doesn’t matter what happens to you, it matters how you respond to it.
You control your destiny.
You hold the pen to your story.
You and your thoughts create your life.
We are all energy and the most potent form of energy is thought.

Trapped emotions, traumas and anxiety which we hold in our nervous system are the source of everything that ails us. 90% of all the pain we experience is due to trapped emotions and emotional baggage. However, most of the positive changes you can make on your own, you just have to take the decision to do it, it is all in your mind. It is all about self-empowerment.

As I was sitting there in a comfortable chair on the 35th floor in the roof garden bar of my Dubai hotel, after an extremely satisfying day of life coaching training, sipping a glass of well deserved Merlot, I suddenly realised that I can achieve anything I want.
I have used this phrase before, many times actually, copied from someone else;
You can achieve anything you set your mind to
Now, at this moment this phrase suddenly just sounded like a cliché to me, it was not mine, someone else had said it.
Right there and then I actually experienced the feeling myself, my thinking had put me in a state of invincibility. My conscious and my unconscious mind were congruent, the goal-setter and the goal-getter were one, and I just knew that from now on anything and everything would always be ok.
It certainly helps to get rid of all the negative emotions and unprocessed negative decisions which weigh us down. It also helps to find out what our values are, what is really important to us and prioritise what we want.
When we accept ourselves exactly as we are, and we know that if we want to change something, we can do it, and we may not need to because we are just happy with what there is, right now.
Keeping away from negative people who always blame others for their results is a great way to feel good; some people don’t want to solve their problems, they are enjoying their misery because that is their only way to attract other people’s attention.
